To the Moon and Back Necklace

A little blast from the past.  I made this a year or so ago for my granddaughters to give to their mom.

The sterling silver heart was stamped with the word:
We love you to the moon and back.

Their names were stamped on copper strips.  Both the heart and names were tumbled for about 20 minutes to shine them up more.

A Swarovski crystal star was wire wrapped and added to the piece.

A fun gift for mom!

Sea Glass Chips in a Bottle

Other than hiking, my other favorite thing to do when we go to the North Shore is to find fun rocks and look for sea glass.  A few years back I thought I would pick the tiny pieces of sea glass and put them in a small vial.  Who would have thought I would find so many fun colors of these tiny treasures!  And who would have thought it would take me this long to get them in a vial and on a chain??  I'm so far behind in my jewelry making!

I'm looking forward to finding some more this fall.  And hiking too!!!

Tiny Goldfish

Yup, those are REALLY tiny goldfish.  I made them from polymer clay.  They have been baked and are waiting for me to pour a batch of resin. Click on the photos to get a closer look.  They are pretty detailed.

I am waiting on a few other projects to be finished so I can pour one batch of resin.  I will post the fish once the project is completed!
